Frequently Asked Questions:
1.
Dillo Dirt.  What is it and what will it do for my yard?
Dillo Dirt is a compost made by the City of Austin since 1989.  The
compost is made from wood chips, yard waste including leaves and lawn
clippings, sawdust, and treated sewer sludge.  It meets Texas and EPA
requirements and is safe for your yard and vegetable gardens.  As a
compost, Dillo Dirt adds organic matter in the soil which enriches both
the plants and the soil, creating a healthier environment.  Compost rich
soil also requires less water.

We know that weeds are horrendous
right now thanks to all of the rain.  The
same rain has unfortunately set us
back because most of our work can't
be done in the rain.  Just know that we
are working hard and fast to get the
weeds back under control.  Thanks for
your patience.
