Dillo Dirt

Dillo Dirt:  Dillo Dirt is compost produced by the City of Austin since 1989.  It is composed of wood chips, yard waste (lawn clippings and leaves), sawdust, and sewer sludge.  It is composted for several months to remoce human and plant pathogens until it meets the State of Texas and EPA requirements.  Dillo Dirt can be used in vegetable gardens.

Lalo likes Dillo Dirt for several reasons: it is an organic fertilizer that is great for adding the ever-important organic matter to your soil, it reduces the amount you have to water, and it provides both the plants and the soil with nutrients to create a healthy environment.

Tender Lawn Care will be putting down Dillo Dirt in April.
